FIRE KIDS GLO is a ministry that seeks to build Godly families – from the kids up.
More than flannel-graph Bible stories, GLO exists to lay a solid foundation and framework for a biblical worldview, in preparation for the challenges of today’s world. We cherish genuine encounters with the Spirit of God and realize that we all need the reality of both the Word and the Spirit in our lives.
We recognize that Spirit-filled kids are not mere “Christians-in-training” but rather full-fledged followers of Jesus NOW. In fact, Jesus Himself made clear that “the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these!”
If you are 7-12 years old, when you join us, don’t expect Sunday morning “babysitting” or mere toys, snacks, and naps. (We know you’re better than that!)
Our goal is engagement, not entertainment. We seek to maximize our time together to challenge you in your thinking and living, and propel you forward in your walk with God!
(And of course, we have plenty of fun along the way!)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT…
We have an array of things that we do together – and no two weeks are exactly the same!
Some of the things do at GLO are:
+ Skits – Often hilarious, the GLO Team drives home reality with skits and object lessons that help biblical truths unforgettably “stick.”
+ Teaching/Message – A thoughtful, interactive exploration of God’s Word for today
+ Syrupy Sunday – Bi-monthly pancake breakfast where we encourage each other as friends in the Lord and grow as a community.
+ Scripture Memorization – Fun (yet challenging!) We incentivize “renewing our minds” by memorizing passages of scripture.
+ Arts/crafts – Reinforcing themes we’ve been building upon, we get as creatively hands-on as possible!
+ Prayer – Looking to involve kids as they feel ready, we encourage times of prayer both altogether, individually, and for each other in small groups.
+ Small Groups – A chance to further explore themes from the day’s lesson, and interactive opportunities to pray one-for-another
+ Games – Laughing and learning often go hand-in-hand. We try to create games that relate to the topic or scripture memory whenever possible.
+ SongShare – Digging into the details of a popular song, assessing the underlying worldview. (SongShare presented by not just the leaders, but the kids too)
+ Worship – Not just a sing-along musical time, but true holy moments in God’s presence.
+ Friendship – In teams, in small groups (and over special pancake breakfasts) kids help build each other up
+ VBS – In the summer, we pull out all the stops and have an intensive, week-long adventure with kids from all over. Engaging the kids spiritually and naturally, it’s a time they’ll never forget.
+ And Much More! – Christmas songs, Easter dances, Family Game Nights… GLO goes on!
Doors open immediately after worship every Sunday morning, for kids 7-12yrs old. Join us!
